This example is a beautiful bold black and white example with the iconic Moroccan Berber diamond details

The condition is very good with one obvious crack sustained when this was in use

Thick shield topped cabriole front legs and shaped back legs with the most incredible figured top which simply isn't done justice in the photos

The colours are wonderfully subtle but the quality of the work gives them an almost glow that lifts the whole painting and are only enhanced further by the original worn gilt frame

This pieces spent a bit of time in a school and has the starts of historical graffiti on the top left drawer

The fabric is dirty so we would recommend upholstering this piece before use

The crossed lines are a thicker wool given the rug a wonderful texture
