Gary Howells Bamboo Fly Rod 8’6" 2/2 #6A nice Gary Howells fly rod, 8'6", 2 piece, 2 tips, and built for a #6 line. Serial #4159 indicating a 1975 manufacture date. The data sticker on the tube and the rod shaft state the weight at 4 1 4 ounces but my scale has it closer to 4. 6 ounces. The rod action is on the faster side of medium. The condition is lightly used with some grip soiling but no significant issues, and the rod is nice and straight with nice tight ferrule fits. Oven tempered

Offered at quite the bargain given the incorrect silk colors used in the refinish process
