Sweetgrass Penta Fly Rod 7'6" 3/2 #4A Sweetgrass penta fly rod, 7'6", 3 piece, 2 tip, built for a #4 line. Serial #1909. Medium slow action. Lightly used with a modest amount of hand soiling to the western style grip. Varnished blond straw colored cane. Maroon main wraps with black edges at the keeper, ferrules, and tip tops. There is an extra band of orange at the keeper. The keeper is 1 flat right as is the lettering "7 1 2' 3 3 8oz #4, 1909" and 2 flats right "Sweetgrass" and 3 flats

Cane is lightly flamed and nicely varnished

with very minor soiling

and the mighty Tarpon has a 4 1/4" diameter with a 1 1/8" spool width

The all aluminum down lock screw lock has a short 2" detachable fighting butt stored in a pocket of the grey cloth bag
