Near mint condition with only minor handling marks
Old tape repair to spine
The owner had Tom Morgan make another tip in 1975 and this tip is 1/4 shorter than the original tip (Tom made the new tip without having the other sections in his possession)
For sale here is a beautiful Marc Aroner 7' 3/2 4wt Hunt Pattern DF bamboo rod
Ferrule sizes 11/64 and 15/64 with an excellent fit
A correspondence letter from Per Brandin is also included detailing the repair
In his later years
The rod is straight and each section is full length
The original alloy foot is full length
Dark stain at the foot of the top two guides on the midsection
The cap and ring appear to be anodized with the sweetgrass logo anodized on the cap
