Gallas, John - 7'9 Parabolic 5wt Bamboo RodFor sale here is a John Gallas 7'9 Parabolic bamboo fly rod, made for a 5 weight line. The rod is in excellent + overall condition, having been fished sparingly. The rod weighs 4 1 2 oz. Size 15 64 ferrules. Varnished flamed shafts have John's standard green wraps with black tipping. Tip sections are mirrored. Up locking reel seat w burled maple. Standard fittings. 6" western grip. This is an extremely nice and very powerful rod!

along with the Payne die stamp

For sale here is an Orvis CFO III Multiplier fly reel in like new condition

but a prior owner had a new smooth brass reel foot fabricated by Bill Archuleta so that the reel is now able to fit on contemporary rods

Includes original leather Orvis double case for both reel and spare spool

Includes a 6 1/2" ferrule plug made from a small piece of bamboo

I had Mike replace the ferrules with the same exact pre-fire ferrules he had in his stock of shop parts
