Totally original with minor age related marks and patina consistent with age and use. This is a very elegant mid 19th century country house armchair in the manner of Gillows

The drawers have gilt metal handles and open and close smoothly

One single piece of teak with a wonderful colour and patina to it

The shape of the cabinet is very elegant and the quality isn't done justice in these images

It is styled on original 17th and 18th century examples but was actually made in the French brutalist period
