Lot 173 - Vintage Green-Painted Cast Metal Decorative Ladle Wall Hanger with Shell-Form Bowl and Art Nouveau Scrollwork, 17" HGreen painted cast metal decorative wall hanger in the form of a ladle, with an elongated ornate back plate and a scalloped shell shaped bowl at the base. The back plate features raised Art Nouveau style scrollwork and a shield motif, with a loop at the top for wall mounting. A length of twine is tied through the hanging loop. The consignor states this piece came from a church and may have served as a holy water ladle; this attribution is anecdotal
