There is again excellent volume to the sleek but powerful and concentrated middle weight plus flavors that exude a fine bead of minerality on the moderately austere finish that delivers flat out superb persistence

spicy and quite floral nose that features mostly dark berry fruit liqueur-like scents

This somewhat rustic effort is very Corton in basic character and a wine that's going to require patience

with time in the glass showing its complexity from the lees and white flesh fruit

yet retains its sense of balance and symmetry

and spicy wood

Gloriously fresh and completely alive

We'll see in time though as it's usually the Chambertin that goes into a shell only to emerge 20+ years later

An intensely spicy and floral red berry and cassis-suffused nose merges seamlessly into impressively rich and full-bodied middle weight flavors that possess just a hint of minerality on the hugely long and palate staining finish
