JW Young 3 1/8" Pattern 14A red agate fly reel3 1 8 dia Youngs pattern 14A. A nice example of the 2 screw latch, fine black enamel finished trout reel. Small amount of paint wear commensurate with minimal use. Smooth brass foot with original lacquer is 2 long and doesnt have any signs of ever being on a reel seat. Neat black ebonite handle, rim mounted tension adjuster, no transverse or lateral spindle play. Pale red agate with no visible cracks or chips. This reel ships from our UK office. REF

There is light soiling around the nose where the plastic is not present

The reel foot has been filed on each corner but done in a very uniform manner
