Class 73 - Caledonian (Early) - 73967 - DCC Sound Fitted73967 Caledonian Sleeper, Early This locomotive is one of the two 73 9s that started life as a JA 73. Not that it changes the prototypes as all traces of JA were removed during rebuilding. E6006 was built at Eastleigh in November 1962 and was later renumbered to 73006 under TOPS. It was rebuilt at Brush Wabtec during 2015 and entered traffic with Caledonian sleeper the same year. Our model represents 73967 in the condition it was first adapted to work

These impressive wagons were built by Bombardier/Prorail of Wakefield in 1998 and designed to carry spent nuclear fuel from Royal Navy nuclear submarines from their bases at Devonport and Rosyth to Sellafield for disposal and typically ran with double headed Class 37/6 locomotives (also available from Accurascale here)
