The stamp on the headplate very clearly reads, "Julius Vom Hofe Maker NY". 2. 30" diameter, 1" wide spool. Hard rubber side plates and nickel plated hardware. The reel is in very good condition cosmetically and mechanically. Blemish free and unpolished sideplates, strong constant click and full length, unaltered foot.

The spools are one-piece aluminum machined from bar stock

The action is on the faster side of medium-fast with a stout butt and delicate tips
