This is the latest creation from Fred Balling who has been working on recreations of a number of classic reels over the years

For sale here is a Ted Godfrey BiMetal fly reel - Model 50 for a DT5 plus 25 yds of 20# backing
capable of great delicacy laying a fly down softly in front of a large spring creek trout
Finished in a non-reflective anodized moss green with Celtic designs that pay homage to the Spey style of fishing
Also included are copies of email correspondence between the current owner and Hoagy Carmichael
Gallas rod
There is no indication that this rod has ever been cast
The action is a lovely medium-fast
