Beautiful up-locking blued nickel silver sliding band reel seat over a mortised burl wood spacer

The most stunningly lovely large size bamboo rod tube (we often see tip tubes like this but never see full rod tubes) with a handsome brass top and collar that are elegantly ornamented with a few trim marks and a raised coin edge knurl

Complete with original mailing envelope and stamps in superb condition as well

The grip is 6 1/2" long

The brake drum is provided with a smooth surface to accommodate the shoe and a toothed area or ratchet for the click pawl

The varnish on the guides and script remains in like new condition with the exception of one small chip in the script varnish over the "y" in "by"

This reel came from a friend of the family and this is the only one of its kind known to exist
