Reduction flattens the nose and I would strongly recommend decanting this for 30 minutes or so if you're tempted to try a bottle before the wine matures

this is profoundly great Syrah

There is a lovely sense of energy and underlying tension to the intensely mineral-driven

it offers a lingering mineral finish

The dense purple color with no lightening or amber is followed by a classic Eisele nose of crushed stones/minerals

and very much Vega in character
