Lot 033 - Pair Of Vintage Gold-Painted Chalkware Busts Of Boy Playing Recorder And Girl Covering Her Ears, After E. Villanis For Esco Products, 9-1/2" HVintage pair of chalkware busts with bronze tone painted finish, each signed E. Villanis on the back of the bust and marked Copyright Esco Product on the reverse of the base. One depicts a girl holding her hands over her ears with a relief snail motif on the front of the base and an old painted over break with a large chip to one corner. The other depicts a boy playing a recorder or hand pipe with a relief newt on the front of the base, showing chips
but is a little tight - it could likely use lubrication and adjustment
foxing and staining on interior
