Orvis Battenkill Bamboo Rod - 7'6 2/2 6wtFor sale here is a 7'6" 2 2 Orvis Battenkill impregnated bamboo rod. Labeled for a #7 line but casts best with a #6. Serial #43305 made in 1966. The rod is in very good condition overall. All sections are full length and straight. Original bag and labeled tube. Ferrules are size 13 64 and the fit is excellent. Aluminum down locking reel seat. The rod weighs 4 1 8 oz. Medium fast action.

Foot is original and unmolested

The butt cap features a socket in which the removable handle extension fits

Has been fished but in excellent condition overall with just the slightest bit of rim rash

The rod is housed in a small passport sized case (6 1/2" x 3 3/8" x 7/8") with a slot for the grip and one for the sections

The script remains as clean and bold as the day it was written

The locking ring features the Payne stamp
