The insect is mounted over a chromolithograph print depicting the Virgin Mary with the Christ Child resting on a white draped table with a gold tasseled pillow. Presented in a sculptural decorative gilt painted frame with minor wear and tear. The verso is finished with a black velvet cover backing.
