DJ (Douglas) Duck 201E Fly Rod 7' 2/2 #4A nice DJ Duck model 201E fly rod, 7', 2 piece, 2 tips, built for a #4 line. 3. 2 ounces. Medium full flexing action. Lightly used condition with just a bit of hand soiling to the grip. Oven tempered cane with nodes in a spiral pattern. Carbide stripper and black stainless guides. The main wraps are transparent light yellow with brown at the keeper, ferrules, and tip tops. Very good flawless varnish. "DJ Duck, Maker, 201E" is lettered one flat right,
Original tube with grey felt lining
This particular rod was built as a memorial to George Griffith
The reel comes with a very uncommon half-ribbed alloy foot (see 1962 Hardy catalogue)
