Orvis "Rocky Mountain" Bamboo Rod 6 1/2 ft. 3/2For sale here is an Orvis "Rocky Mountain" bamboo rod model. This is a fairly rare pack rod model made by Orvis in 1967. The rod is 6 1 2 feet long and is intended for a DT5 or 6 weight line. The rod weighs 3 1 2 oz. The rod remains in excellent++ to near mint condition with original bag and tube. All sections are full length, straight, and have never been repaired.
Gorgeous honey colored cane
The reel foot shows marks and there are a few extremely small marks on the rim
The ferrules are size 15/64 and 10/64 and the fit is great
In gold and black anodized travel case with internal black baize lining
