Edward Vom Hofe 423 Restigouche Model Fly Reel 4/0A nice Edward Vom Hofe Model 423 Restigouche Salmon fly reel in excellent overall condition. Size 4 0 3 7 8" diameter. This reel carries the 1896 patent date on the sliding oil cap. German silver safety bands and a pair of roller bars. The frame is in great condition as are the hard rubber sideplates with very little sign of use and free of any major defects. The screw heads are clean as well. The reel has a strong adjustable drag and click and a
otherwise in good original condition
Gorgeous honey colored cane
and a neat little oiler are cradled in foam
grips and wraps
The grip is 6" long and shaped to a western profile with a hidden pocket cap
The cane is flamed in a tiger stripe and is done in a three up node pattern
Comes with original Winston bag and tube
Superbly machined and thoroughly ventilated for weight reduction as well as ease of cleaning
