Trout Net - BrodinFor sale here is a very nice trout net made by Brodin for a Trout Unlimited chapter, with the opening measuring 13" by 8. 25". The net bag does not have rips or holes. Like new condition still in original wrapping.
It spins as freely as any Silex on its "compensating steel pivot bearing" and the optional click check works smoothly
The oxidized brass ferrules are size 23/64 and 30/64 with a great fit and include the original wooden ferrule plugs
Comes in the usual red fleece bag
"Thomas & Thomas Makers" is stamped in the locking ring
MKII check with one engage-able pawl and one spare
I would describe the action as medium fast and casts very nicely both in short
The rod is wrapped brown with black edges
The prior owner flipped the pawl and the reel functions nicely as left hand retrieve
