Lot 046 - Antique "Peter's for Hot Chocolate" Soda Fountain Advertising Canister with Metal Lid, Manufactured by Clinchfield China, 10-1/2" HCeramic advertising canister for Peter's hot chocolate, barrel shaped with a cream glaze and raised brown lettering reading "Peter's," " For Hot ," and "Chocolate." The canister is fitted with a metal lid with a knob finial. The base is stamped with the Clinchfield China crown mark and "7 27." Manufactured by Southern Potteries, Erwin, Tennessee. The glaze exhibits allover crazing with some staining. The metal lid shows surface oxidation and wear.
