This clamp on attachment adds 2. 5 lb of counterweight to the end of a boom arm and offsets the weight of a mic. Not only is the CW 3 perfect for stabilizing extended booms such as those used for overhead mics and piano mics, but it also clamps to mic stand legs to provide a more substantial foundation.
