Large arbour design with captive spool release
made in December 1963 by Bob Summers
The rod is in mint condition having only been lawn cast
seal varnish finish
The box closes squarely and securely though the double hook salmon flies currently in the box prevent this as they are too large
which indicates that this is one of my earliest model rods
The ferrules are size 13/64 and the ferrule fit is excellent
The rod is completely original and in unused condition
When this rod came into the shop the ferrule fit was a smidge too tight so I cleaned the ferrules for a better fit
Oxidized cap and ring reel seat over all cork reel seat
The reel has no wobble or end play
