Chris Vance Fly Rod 8'4" 2/2 #5A hard to find Chris Vance fly rod, 8'4", 2 piece, 2 tip, built for a #5 line. Serial #845. 117. According to the hangtag it weighs 3. 27 oz and my scale has it awfully close at 3. 4 oz. This rod has a medium fast action and is in lightly used condition. Only a tiny amount of hand soiling indicates any use. The cane is flamed and the node pattern is 2 opposed. Belt sanded nodes. The wraps are brown edged in black at the keeper wrap (no keeper),

The rod remains in excellent condition with two exceptions
