FE Thomas Mahogany Bamboo Rod 7'6" 2/2 #4For sale here is a F. E. Thomas Special Mahogany bamboo rod 7'6" length, two sections with two tips, best with a 4wt line in our opinion. Serial no. 9 in bullseye rings on the butt cap, likely made in 1919. The rod is in excellent++ condition, having been masterfully restored by Steve Blake. Rod Specs:

The keeper is 1 flat right as is the lettering "7 1/2' 3 3/8oz #4

An early rod of mine from the late 80's or early 90's

The sliding ring and butt cap are finely engraved

and a third small panel with his card in it

Unfortunately Paul is no longer with us

All black in color

"Tibor Reel by Ted Juracsik" and "the Riptide" printed on the side as well as a plaque (removable) with the previous owner's name printed on it

Mechanically the drag is still perfect

The rod remains in excellent++ original condition
