Peerless Model 2A Fly Reel

Peerless Model 2A Fly ReelFor sale here is a Peerless 2A fly reel. Designed for a 5 or 6 weight line. 3 1 4" diameter. LHW. The reel weighs 5. 3 oz. The reel's line capacity is a DT6 plus 40 yards of backing. There is some minor scoring to the faceplate as we see on many of the Peerless reels. The handle arm rotates freely without contacting the sideplate, so I'm not sure how these marks developed. Regardless, a fine fishing reel and perfect size for trout fishing.

The grip is a slim cigar with standard swiss ferrules and the rod has my "may rose" wraps

The rod includes beautiful hand turned brass ferrule plugs
