Class 73 - GBRf (Early) - 73962 Dick Mabbutt73962 GBRf, Early This loco started life as E6032 and entered service in May 1966. TOPS renumbering saw it become 73125 and then finally 73204 when it became part of the Gatwick express fleet. 73962 was unveiled to the (almost) public at the Wabtec Brush open day in August 2014 carrying a one off all over GBRF blue livery. It was named Dick Mabbutt in a Ceremony in memory of respected Brush Engineer of 40 years Richard Mabbutt who passed away

by which time the now-familiar maroon and gold house colours had been chosen

as Rebuilt

Designed specifically for the accurascale Class 66  locomotive with 'Phase 0' Engine Configuration

it lost the big EWS logo and gained small DB ones as well as the 12-digit number 91 70 0092 030-1
