Paul Young Perfectionist Bamboo Rod 7'6" 2/3 #4/5For sale here is a Paul H. Young "Perfectionist" bamboo fly rod 7'6" 2 3 4 5wt. Serial no. 4264. Made in 1966. The rod is in excellent+ restored condition having been fished sparsely since restoration. It is unknown who performed the restoration though certainly a fine job. The rod includes a third tip presumably made at the time of restoration. One of the original tips is down 4". All other sections are full length and straight. The rod features

Oxidation on the step ferrules shows scuffing and wear

with a riveted (and not screwed) foot

Brown Leather binding and a hard slipcase

Lettered "7'6" 3 1/8oz #1808" on the shaft

It also has the original Payne ferrule plugs which I've often admired
