Kabusecha (Shade Grown) 2025Kabusecha is a tea that has grown in the shade for approx. one week before picking. This causes the tea to have a sweeter and more nuanced taste and a juicier leaf develops. Japanese green tea can be enjoyed cold, as well as hot, as these teas have a mild and fresh taste. You can also brew the cold tea in cold water, but the leaves just have to steep for a longer time. This tea is from our producer Hoshino Seichaen in Yame, Fukuoka, Japan.
