Lot 044 - Vintage Reproduction Cast Metal Imp Inkwell and Pen Rest with Bat-Wing Lid and Frog Finial, Repainted Gold, 4" HVintage reproduction cast metal inkwell in the form of a crouching imp with a grimacing face, clawed feet, and a curled tail. The hinged lid is modeled as a bat wing with a frog finial. The back of the figure features a pen rest. The body is composed of the imp's oversized head with the animal like hindquarters forming the rear. The piece has been repainted with gold paint. The interior retains a dark residue. The hinge is intact and functional.
