HL Leonard Model 48 Bamboo Rod with Payne Silks 7' 3/2 #4For sale here is an original post fire Leonard Model 48 bamboo rod 7 feet 3 2 for a 4 wt line. Mint unfished condition. Serial #1339. The rod weighs 3 oz. All sections are full length and straight. What makes this rod scarce is the fact that it was originally wrapped with Payne silks. There was a small batch of rods similar to this one that were sold through Bob Corsetti's catalog a number of years ago. Cap and ring seat with butternut spacer.
