This has "Sherry" engraved in the centre and a double line engraved around the edge. A great item of collectable silver and a lovely piece of silver to add to a collection or use. Assay Office: London Maker: William Knight Date: 1848 Condition Very good without any damage. The engraving is crisp and without any rubbing, the hallmarks are good and clear. Some minor surface marks
The snuff box opens to reveal a gilded interior and it is hallmarked on the edge of the lid
The spring loaded sovereign holder works well and closes well
This letter opener is a good weight
The back is plainer but still high quality with a central flower engraved decoration within a border which is in keeping with the period
