Octomore 14.2Octomore 14. 2 is distilled from 100% Scottish mainland Concerto barley and is malted to 128. 9 PPM. Instead of being matured in first fill bourbon casks, it is matured in a mix of Oloroso and Amarone wine casks. Hailing from the renowned wine regions of Spain and Italy respectively. Caliche is distilled five times for a smooth finish and aged up to five years in Oak barrels

We feel Bourbon is aged best with the barrel racked on its side

which has first been aged in new oak barrels for 4+ years and then finished in fresh Port barrels
