The pattern is split in half diagonally with one half having a heavy and intricate scroll design whilst the other half displays a simple and elegant single Rose design

The inside is complete and contains a plain grille and gilded interior

The inner gilding is complete and looks untouched

There are very light and minor surface marks commensurate with age and light use

The hallmarks are also clear

This is oval in shape with a flip top lid and all round the edge is a ribbed striker

The handle is free from damage but the blade shows signs of use including scratches marks and slight bending - see pictures

Fantastic condition for its age

The base can be removed from this scent bottle to reveal a glass scent bottle insert
