1990's Bill Lawrence (by Morris Japan) BY1R-60G HH Electric Guitar (Black)Bill Lawrence branded guitars were made by Moridaira Guitars (responsible for Morris guitars, among others) and were built around the impressive range of Bill Lawrence pickups. One of two artist models designed with Miki "SUN GO" Igarashi of the band "SHOW YA". Compact alder body with Wolfgang vibes, 24 fret rosewood fingerboard on a painted maple neck that has a very slight V profile, weighs 3. 5kg's. 628mm scale length with a Stratocaster style

The HF-2 is combining the original signal with a delayed signal that is shifted one octave up to create a flanging effect a bit different but still similar to the BF-2

but also a drive and clean mix knob

you'll be hard pressed to find a more widely loved instrument style than the SG - and this streamlined SGJ gives you exactly what you want

Most SGs were finished in Cherry or Wine Red

Pickup Neck: Alnico Classic humbucker

Loaded with the original Fender Japan single coils and Japanese pots/wiring (unlike the mid 00's models that had Texas Specials)

but under the hood

a coil tap mini-toggle and 1 vol/2 tone knobs

and solid mahogany body

Bound basswood body with a maple neck and a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard (38mm nut width)

We had this one professionally refinished in a glossy shell pink in late 2023 using a soft acrylic finish that's closer in feel to nitrocellulose than a thick poly shell

Good overall condition as pictured with some basic wear and a few small dings
