Sabar Estate KeknyeluThis wine has an amazing character and is deliciously moreish. Full of zesty lemon, fresh peach, a subtle floral character with a hint of almond nuttiness. Fermentation was deliberately slow and cool to preserve the fresh fruit character. This was followed by four months of aging in twelve year old 300 litre Austrian oak barrels, rounding and softening the wine whilst providing it a delightful toasty complexity.

Fresh bitter cherry and red berries come in on the palate

garlic prawns or paprika chicken

closely followed by toasted hazelnut

zippy acidic backbone

There is a citrus driven acidity with hints of peaches and cream

On the nose and palate

but with an agricultural heritage going back to the 1700s

The juice was settled
