The table is made from a wonderful cut of English oak which is a superb even colour throughout and has an Arts & Crafts feel to it. The table has a military provenance with the stamp showing it was originally made for the Air Ministry in 1939 by a Sheffield maker. The drawer has its two original brass tear drop handles and internal dividers with it originally likely being a table made for jewellery storage

the paintwork has wear to some edges which gives a fantastic look

it sits on four turned oak legs and has a drawer at either end

The table is in good strong order with some age related wear

It has Rupert Griffiths signature eyebrow handles and half penny carved details

The chairs are both in good condition with age related wear
