An early method of colorizing black and white photos was to apply oil paints directly to photographs

I admired it often when driving past in different seasons and at different times of day

this was one of the last poses of the photo session session

That morning

the image becomes both mirror and mystery

using a Wacom tablet and stylus

and it is colorized to the complementary cyan/blue
