1980 Boss PH-1r Phaser Vintage Effects PedalThe Boss PH 1r Phaser was a revision of the original Boss PH 1. The PH 1r is a standard 4 stage phaser that was produced to emulate the swirling tones of the popular Leslie style rotating speaker cabinets without needing a specialised speaker setup. Users of the PH 1 were happy with it's tone but thought it lacked the throbbing tremolo style phase that other pedals could produce (due to the PH 1's low internal feedback setting).
