1996 Fender Duo-Sonic Traditional Series Reissue (Torino Red)

1996 Fender Duo-Sonic Traditional Series Reissue (Torino Red)Made in Mexico in 1996, the Fender Duo Sonic was a reissue of the compact "student" model that surged in popularity as a shoegazers dream. Poplar body with a bolt on maple neck with a 20 fret maple fingerboard (22. 7" scale length), it weighs 3kgs. Appears to be all original except for one knob, serviced and given a basic setup prior to listing. The frets are clean with plenty of life and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss rod.

The neck was sanded back by the previous owner and there's a hairline crack in the finish that has no movement and appears to have been injected with a small amount of glue at some point
