Much of her work explores notions of femininity, including domestic spaces, and feminized objects (such as flowers, dollhouses and ballerinas). These pieces are a departure from her well known floral work and are exercises in plein air landscape painting.

I find it very difficult to not be overwhelmed by the evil and suffering in the world

and the place itself has served as a place of grounding and centering for the artist

Having worked in nearly every artistic medium

It has been a time for me to live and find hope

and the structures we find around us

sometimes they change multiple times a day and other times they represent different phases of our lives
