Weighs 3. 7kgs and wears a sunburst finish on a basswood body, aged glossy maple neck and 21 fret rosewood fingerboard (7. 25" radius). This one appears all original as pictured. This '57 reissue looks to have been ordered with a factory scalloped maple fingerboard and has been modified at some point with a new bridge and a LP style nut

Has three replacement saddles

this FJB-50 came to us from a professional player who has it loaded with flatwounds and a foam mute mounted on the bridge cover (easily removable) to give it a beautifully vintage and rounded bass tone

it wouldn't be a Gibson if it didn't have a headstock repair

The 3way toggle switch chooses between the neck and bridge pickups or a mix of both
