I found this a good study on edges

I stopped at the edge of the tarn and painted the reflection of the slopes and the sky on the cool water

The tree rose so proudly against the fields with calmly grazing sheep

The sunlight was just barely filtering through the foliage to touch the rose

and how the Duomo contrasted with the light blues of the hills and sky in the background
