1979 K. Yairi Japan Leo-J2 Handmade Acoustic Guitar (Natural)Made by K Yairi in Japan in 1979, the Leo J2 has a solid spruce top with a figured mahogany back sides, ebony bridge and fingerboard, mahogany neck with a slight V profile (44mm nut width), it weighs 2kg's. Includes Yairi branded case. Rare to see these with the K Yairi branded signature in the top! Very used condition as pictured with a few bumps and dings to finish on the body, received a restring and basic setup prior to listing including a fret

Appears close to all original except for replacement locks on the nut

The main feature here is the onboard speaker

Fender Japan pickups with Gotoh tuners and a toploader bridge

Previous owner installed unbranded Invader style high gain pickups

diecast bridge and a graphite nut (40mm width)

Candy Apple Red finish

Good vintage condition as pictured with some light wear and cosmetic blemishes as pictured

however all three pickups are working as they should

truss works as it should and it was restrung prior to listing along with a fret polish and truss adjustment

Frets have some pitting but were polished and play well

Pickup on/off switches (coil tap for humbucker)

the original PAF-Vintage MK2S pickups sound perfect
