Description
Akarua Rua Pinot NoirNose of ripe raspberries, blackcurrant and struck flint. The pallet derives of black plum and ripened black cherry with notes of wet leaves, charred wood and smoky mushroom. Chalky tannin accompanied by lively minerality lengthens the wines savoury characteristics throughout the finish.
The wine is broad and muscular
Matured for 3 years in French oak barrels and bottle-aged
These rums are blended and finished in Pedro Ximénez casks
On the palate it is a wine of great balance
The finish is full of fresh fruit tones
luxurious vanilla
beautiful aromas of ripe yellow peach
sweet characteristics whilst there is a developing earthy hint of tobacco leaves towards the end
Counoise and Vacarèse
It is an exceptionally rare spirit: there are only 500 decanters available worldwide
toffee and wood spice
The finish is of lingering caramel and candied fruit
