1960s Champagne Arm Chair by Estelle and Erwine Laverne for Formes Nouvelles in Lucite and AluminumThis is a Champagne Chair, designed by Estelle & Erwine Laverne in 1957. It was made by Formes Nouvelles. This piece was produced in the early 1960s as part of their Invisible series. It features a cast acrylic perspex shell, and has a tulip shaped revolving base. It has a cushion that is removable, currently upholstered in a Peacock Blue silk velvet. It is properly stamped underneath, Made in Italy, Champagne Chair Laverne, Formes Nouvelles. This
