1949 Jens Risom No. 23 Sofa with New Upholstery Signed H.G. Knoll ProductsListed for sale is an exceptionally rare and early Jens Risom Sofa, model number 23, produced by Knoll and labelled H. G. Knoll Products. This particular examples dates to circa 1949. The model itself was designed in 1946 and made during the earliest production period, as the labels transitioned to Knoll Associates labels during the beginning of the 1950s. This sofa came from a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania estate and was just freshly reupholstered in a

produced by the Lehigh Furniture Company circa 1960

The lounge chairs measure 30 inches tall by 30 inches deep and 30 inches wide

As the chairs are completely original

when Knoll had its showroom at 601 Madison Avenue in New York City

He was a student of Finn Juhl and produced a number of distinctive pieces

The fiberglass is in nice shape
