1950s Tea Trolley / Cart Table Model 901 by Aino and Alvar Aalto for ArtekThis is an original Tea Trolley 901 Serving Cart, designed in 1936 by Aino and Alvar Aalto for Artek. The piece was manufactured in Finland circa 1950s. The strong frame is made from birch which has been bent. The top and bottom trays are of form pressed birch plywood, and the top has a white ceramic tile surface. The wheels are lined with rubber to give it a smooth ride. This cart measures 19. 68 inches long, 35. 43 inches wide, and is 22 inches

Mies Van Der Rohe designed the piece during the 1930's

in the manner of the Ari Lounge Chair designed by Arne Norell We acquired it in original condition and had a masterful upholstery shop in the NYC area completely reupholster both the belting leather straps and cushions at a considerable expense

The stools are beautifully constructed from stainless steel with exceptional detailing
