It was re done in recent years by East Penn Upholstery, a renowned upholstery shop very close to the Knoll factory, which is a recommended and authorized upholstery shop for vintage Knoll products by the Knoll company itself. Listed for sale is a pair of (sold separately) CH07 shell chairs in lacquered oak with wool fabric seats
so the seats should appear quite nice
I assume this was 8-10k when purchased new
Excellent condition
Listed for sale are four (sold separately) recent production Arne Jacobsen swan chairs
The arm height is 26" from the ground
and Widdicomb
The chair is in excellent vintage condition and seems to be one of only a few nicely preserved examples remaining
